Introduction
First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet is a cooperative game of survival for 1 to 4 players. The game is set on Mars during a near future mission of the first manned mission to the red planet.
In the game, players will take on the roles of one of the astronauts of the crew, each with their own specialties and abilities. The players will need to work together in order to ensure the survival of the crew as they face dangerous challenges such as dust storms, solar flares, and failing equipment.
The game is played in rounds, with each round consisting of two phases: the planning phase and the action phase. In the planning phase, players will need to carefully decide what actions they will take in order to ensure the survival of the crew. In the action phase, players will carry out their actions and resolve any resulting conflicts. If at any point during the game all four crew members are lost, then the game is over and everyone loses.

The First Manned Mission to Mars
In 2026, the first manned mission to Mars is about to launch. The crew of the Ares III mission includes six astronauts: commander Melissa Lewis, pilot Jessica Tanaka, and scientists Mark Watney, Beth Johanssen, Alex Kamal, and Rory Adams. The mission is going smoothly until a huge dust storm forces the crew to abort their landing and return to orbit. Watney is struck by flying debris and lost in the storm; the rest of the crew assume he is dead.
With their landing site now uninhabitable, the crew must find a way to rescue Watney before he runs out of food and air. But as they begin their journey back to Earth, they realize that Watney is not the only one in danger: the ship itself is slowly falling apart…
The First Mars Colonists
In 2037, the first humans land on Mars. They come in peace, seeking to establish the first permanent human settlement on the red planet. But Mars is a hostile world, and the first colonists find themselves in a fight for their lives.
The First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet is a cooperative board game for 1-4 players, based on the award-winning Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island. In the game, players take on the roles of the first Mars colonists, working together to survive the perils of the red planet.
The game features an innovative cooperative storyline mechanic that allows players to experience all three stages of a Martian colonist’s journey: from landing on Mars, to establishing their colony, to fighting for their lives against Martian lifeforms that seek to destroy them.
Players must work together to overcome challenges and achieve objectives, while managing their resources carefully. They will need to contend with hardships such as hunger, thirst, and fatigue, as well as dangerous Martian lifeforms that seek to destroy them. The game can be played cooperatively or solo, and offers a unique play experience each time.

In First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet, players take on the roles of astronauts of the International Mars Science Foundation (IMSF) as they explore the Martian surface. They will face Challenges and Solve Puzzles while trying to maintain their sanity during the long months they are cut off from Earth.

First Martians: The Return to Earth is a cooperative game for 1-4 players. You will need the First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet core box to play. The Return to Earth is an expansion that adds new missions, new locations, and new challenges to the game. It can be played as a standalone campaign or combined with the base game for a longer experience.
